Vanderpump Rules Star Stassi Schroeders Mom Explains Awkward Appearance On The Show And Bla
If you tuned into ‘Vanderpump Rules’ last night, you were probably wondering like the rest of viewers exactly why Stassi Schroeder’s mom was acting the way she was. The mother of the Bravolebrity took to Instagram to explain exactly what was going on.
The latest episode picked up where the last one left off. Stassi’s new boyfriend, Beau Clark, was present for his very first ‘Stassi’s Annual Birthday Breakdown’ which left him in literal tears. Apparently, the 30-year-old is still reeling with feelings of abandonment due to her past relationships — especially her latest with Patrick Meagher.
Stassi’s mom, Dayna Schroeder, gave a not-so-comforting speech to Beau warning him that she fears that her daughter will mess up this relationship because of the way she is.
She even took it a step further at a dinner with Katie Maloney and Kristen Doute’s moms when she argued with the #OOTDDAY founder and told her friends that she wishes Stassi was more like Kristen.
Dayna’s night ended with an emotional meltdown of her crying to the other reality star’s moms and was an uncomfortable scene to watch altogether.

After the episode, aired viewers flocked to social media to offer up criticism on why Stassi acts the way that she does sometimes. They were pretty much in agreement that the apple didn’t fall far from the tree and felt that Dayna was harder on her daughter than need be.
Dayna defended herself via Instagram when she posted a loving collage of her and Stassi with a long caption that read, in part: “These are the moments I treasure with my wonderful daughter. Not the moments from last night’s episode dabockl!! Nastassia knows how much I love her and how I think she is the most confident, smart, witty, kind hearted loving girl. I am so proud of her and all of her accomplishments! I do however, have to step back and tell myself that people that don’t know me or us, don’t get to see our rapport together. We are funny and sarcastic, dramatic, silly, obnoxious and always teasing or taking digs at each other. That’s what our family does. And yes, sometimes we drink too much.”
It went on to say: “That is who we are with each other and our friends. And that’s why people who don’t personally know us would think that I was SERIOUSLY saying those wise cracks to Beau and Stassi to be that horrible of a mother? I was trying to be “that embarrassing funny mom” And I get it. If I saw this show and someone’s mother was laughing and teasing her daughter unmercifully, I would think she was awful to. But ya’ll have no idea how loving and close of a family we are. Including Beau and the girls and their wonderful mothers. I’m very sorry if I offended anyone in our group that day. ALCOHOL + MEDICATION + NO FOOD = DISASTER.”
