Kathryn Dennis Speaks After Losing Custody Of Her Children
Kathryn Dennis and Thomas Ravenel have been through so many ups and downs on Southern Charm. Although the Ravenel is no longer on the show, the drama rages on behind-the-scenes.
Weeks ago, it was reported that Kathryn lost custody of her two kids to her ex who is starting a new life with his news fiance. Dennis has seemingly confirmed the news via Twitter — but that’s not all of the story.
Dennis alluded to being taken advantage of by lawyers.

She tweeted: ‘I need to scream this so I’m going on Twitter, it’s a shame what some lawyers are willing to do. Can anyone relate?’
She followed up with: ‘It’s time to start advocating for the people who get manipulated by the legal system. And against those who use the legal system to manipulate.’
Meanwhile, an attorney for Thomas told People Magazine: ‘I can confirm the information released last week that Ms. Dennis currently has weekend, daytime supervised visitation with the parties’ minor children and that Mr. Ravenel plans to relocate with the children to Aiken, South Carolina this summer. Due to the sensitive nature of the issues involved, all documents in this case have been sealed, meaning the public cannot access them’
This comes after Kathryn was accused of neglecting her two children. From not checking on their homework to allegedly allowing them to play in the street — Ravenel apparently built a case strong enough to be given full custody.
This round of parental guardianship was not documented on the last season of Southern Charm although Thomas did make a surprising appearance after bashing the series and the network.

It’s unknown whether Southern Charm will be returning for another season — however, there is definitely potential based on Kathryn’s new relationship and Madison LeCroy’s A-Rod related drama. Hopefully, the kids are in good hands.
